Yesterday, one of my Managers passed away at work.
Now when I say “at work” I mean, he died sitting in his chair in his office.
He fell to the floor, stopped breathing while 2 ladies did mouth to mouth
and CPR to try revive him. Unfortunately he passed away before the Ambulance
and paramedics arrived.
man lost consciousness and slipped away. We saw him die. This morning all the staff stood around before work and sang some Zulu
prayers in honour of the deceased. I said a few words and thanked the brave
staff who tried to save him. Now every-time I walk into his office and over the spot where his body lay
for several hours before the mortuary came to collect the body, I get a cold
chill. He shoes are still lying under his desk. Business carries on.
His laugh will be missed.
RIP Allan.
My Heart Flutters
My heart flutters
I have the butters
I mean butterflies
I try speaking but only utter
I’ve found the twinkle in my eye
So I gaze at the sight that’s so glittery
And has me feeling so jittery
Can’t help but blush
Every time we touch
Endorphins begin forcing
My blood to rush
Until I hyper-act
I’m feeling the way
The ceiling just sways from side to side
I think I’m high
Off of love or something like that
So … once again I was foolish enough to think that my body was that of
Clark Kent’s.
My Kryptonite is however not as exciting, its Sesame seeds.
that’s where I’m off to shortly to get a Cortisone injection and maybe a few
thousand Anti-histamine tabs. Tattoo needles? Sure no problem, but try stick in needle IN my ass or arm
and I’m a pathetic woes of a man. Wish me luck. Visiting hours 7-8.
FML B.
