Last night we were treated to a visit of a new art district in the heart of
Jozi.
A central courtyard with olive trees, lemon trees and manicured lawns
surrounded by a bar/ lounge area and resto called Canteen. Reasonable prices
for reasonable food. I had a bacon and cheese burger with fries (straight to
hell Jew boy!) which was decent for R45! We then saw the play at the theatre
upstairs called “Mouse.” Don’t bother – poor story, poor shock tactic and
poor acting! And im no theatre expert but really!
using currently) and an old 50’s car perched on the roof. I recon- come
summer this is a great spot to sit back and put back a few cold ones. Visit their site and see what and where.
